And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

Context

Exodus records Israel’s deliverance from slavery in Egypt. In chapter 3, God speaks to Moses from a burning bush and calls him to be His messenger. Moses hesitates, doubting his ability, so God gives him miraculous signs as proof of His power. This verse comes right after that meeting, showing Moses obeying God by telling his brother Aaron everything the LORD had said and every sign He had commanded.

Meaning

Moses shares with Aaron all the words and all the signs without holding anything back. This complete transmission matters because Aaron is appointed to speak for Moses before the people and before Pharaoh. Moses does not keep any part of the divine message to himself. His faithful reporting shows that he trusts God’s calling and accepts his role as God’s chosen instrument. The verse also highlights Moses’ role as God’s messenger, delivering the divine words and instructions without omission.
