The Beginning of the Vision
Biblical Theology Ministries did not begin as my plan to build a theological website. It began when God gave me several visions and revelations, linked especially to 2 Peter 3.
Through these visions, I gained a clearer view of the last days. People would treat God’s Word lightly. Faith would weaken, and many would struggle to recognise biblical truth. Yet, although this present creation awaits judgement, we still live within a precious period of grace.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 helped me understand that the Holy Spirit restrains evil and continues to work in people’s hearts. I thought of Eliezer walking with Rebekah until she reached Isaac. In the same way, the Holy Spirit continues His work until the appointed time.
A burden grew in me for future generations. They might hunger for God’s Word while finding fewer faithful teachers who stand firmly upon Scripture. I did not yet know what my response should be. Through prayer and waiting, however, I became convinced that I should preserve and share what God was teaching me.
A Step of Faith
That conviction led to a small but important step. In 2017, I purchased biblicaltheology.org.uk, even though I had no detailed plan, ministry team or technical structure to build it.
The website remained largely in maintenance for several years, but that waiting time was not empty. I studied Scripture carefully, often word by word. I also used theological books, biblical studies and scholarly resources to deepen my understanding.
Buying the domain before I could see the way ahead taught me an enduring lesson. Faith does not always reveal the whole path. Sometimes God asks us to obey one instruction and trust Him to make the next step clear in His time.
Learning to Examine Everything
During 2018 and 2019, my study became broader and more disciplined. I read commentaries and scholarly works. I also listened to pastors, preachers, theologians and Bible teachers from many backgrounds. I deliberately looked beyond any one denomination or organisation.
Some teachings confirmed what I had understood. Others sent me back to Scripture to reconsider my view. I learned that a respected name does not remove the need for discernment. Every idea must be tested, and Scripture must remain the final authority.
This became a foundation of Biblical Theology Ministries. I learned to listen carefully, research thoroughly and compare different views. Above all, I returned to God’s Word.
From Study to Structure
The COVID period opened an unexpected season of concentrated study. Throughout 2020 and 2021, I spent much time reading and meditating on Scripture. I compared passages, listened to teaching and examined theological arguments. Then I returned to the Bible in prayer and sought the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Themes began to connect, and each question led to deeper research.
By 2022, years of Bible study, personal notes, sermons and scholarly material had accumulated. I understood that this growing body of work was not for me alone. It should become a resource through which others could explore Scripture. The challenge had shifted from finding information to organising it in a clear and helpful way.
Detailed studies across the whole Bible seemed to require a large team of researchers, theologians, editors and developers. I did not have such a team. Although the work seemed beyond me, I continued to organise and prepare. I chose not to force the next stage, but to trust God to provide what was needed in His time.
An Important Door Opens
One major obstacle concerned the Bible text itself. The vision required extensive use of the Authorised King James Version. Because I am based in the United Kingdom, I needed clear permission to use it for this project.
After prayer, I contacted Cambridge University Press & Assessment in 2023. To my surprise and gratitude, Biblical Theology Ministries received permission to use the KJV text.
A door that could have stopped the project opened just when it was needed. This confirmed what the journey had been teaching me. My responsibility was to prepare and take each faithful step while trusting God with the doors beyond my control.
Technology Makes the Vision Possible
The volume of research still appeared to require a large team. Yet, while I had been waiting, technology was changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence brought new tools. They could search large collections, organise research, compare documents and help prepare material for careful review.
AI did not replace Scripture, prayer, spiritual discernment or my duty to verify the content. It became a practical tool for work that one person could not manage by hand.
Step by step, I began building the systems behind Biblical Theology Ministries. These included databases, research tools, Bible-study structures and publishing workflows. What had once seemed impossible for one person was becoming possible. I found it remarkable that many tools required for the vision had been developing during the years in which I waited.
The Work Continues
Biblical Theology Ministries remains a work in progress. My aim is not to create another website filled with religious information. I want to make serious Bible-study resources available to anyone who sincerely wants to understand Scripture.
I want readers to open a passage and explore its context, related Scriptures, important words and theological themes. They can then return to the Bible with greater understanding and a desire to study it for themselves.
This brings the journey back to its original burden. We still live within a precious period of grace while the Holy Spirit works in people’s hearts. Future generations may face greater spiritual confusion and find fewer teachers who stand firmly upon Scripture. For this reason, the opportunity to preserve and share sound biblical study matters deeply.
My prayer is that this platform will build your faith, strengthen your understanding and place useful resources at your fingertips. Above all, may it lead you back to God’s Word, deeper dependence on the Holy Spirit and a stronger life in Jesus Christ.
