Habakkuk 3:2

“O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.”

Context:The book of Habakkuk is one of the minor prophets in the Old Testament. Habakkuk was a prophet who lived during a time of great social and moral decay in Judah. In this book, the prophet raises questions to God about the injustice and violence he sees around him, seeking understanding and justice.

• Even in the face of God’s wrath or discipline, we can have confidence in His mercy and faithfulness to His promises. We should seek His mercy and extend it to others as well.
