“But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him.”

- The blowing of the trumpet can be seen as a metaphor for proclaiming God’s truth and calling people to action. As followers of Christ, we are called to boldly declare the Gospel and call others to respond, just as Gideon blew the trumpet to gather the people for battle.
