Hosea 7:2

“And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.”

It was written by the prophet Hosea during a time when the northern kingdom of Israel was experiencing moral and spiritual decay. The people had turned away from God, indulged in idolatry, and practised wickedness.
