Mark 7:8

Disregarding God’s commandment:By prioritising their traditions over the commandments of God, the religious leaders were essentially nullifying the true intent and purpose of God’s Word.
They were so focused on external rituals and traditions that they lost sight of the heart of God’s commandments.
Human traditions:Jesus emphasises that these traditions, such as washing pots and cups, were not divinely commanded but rather man-made customs.
He points out that these practices were not essential for true spiritual purity or righteousness.

- Our faith should be genuine and demonstrated consistently in both our actions and attitudes.
