John 5:44

Context:The Gospel of John is one of the four Gospels in the New Testament, written by the apostle John. In this verse, Jesus is speaking to a group of Jews who were seeking to kill Him because He had healed a man on the Sabbath.

True faith requires a single-minded devotion to God and a willingness to follow Him, even if it means being misunderstood or rejected by the world.

Application:This verse challenges us to examine our motives and priorities. Are we seeking the approval of others, or are we seeking to honour God in all that we do? It’s important to remember that our faith should not be dependent on the opinions or recognition of people but firmly rooted in our relationship with God.
