Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Context
The apostle Paul wrote this second letter to Timothy while imprisoned in Rome near the end of his life. Timothy was a young minister and a close companion of Paul. The purpose of this letter was to encourage and instruct Timothy in his ministry and to pass on final words of wisdom.
