Genesis 14:14

And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captiue, he armed his trained seruants borne in his owne house, three hundred and eighteene, and pursued them vnto Dan. Genesis 14:14 (KJV)

Later in the narrative Abram encounters Melchizedek, the priest of God Most High, who blesses him, further reinforcing Abram’s devotion to God.
