Isaiah 53:11

“He shall see of the travail of his soul”:This verse speaks of the Servant (Jesus) seeing the results or outcome of His suffering. The word “travail” refers to the anguish, pain, and toil that the Servant endured on behalf of humanity. Jesus’ suffering on the cross was intense, both physically and spiritually.

“And shall be satisfied”:Despite the immense suffering, the Servant will be satisfied or content with the results of His sacrifice. Jesus’ death on the cross was not in vain but had a purpose. Through His sacrifice, He accomplished the redemption and salvation of many.

“By his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many”:The phrase “by his knowledge” can be understood as “through his understanding” or “through his righteous act.” Jesus, the righteous servant, justifies many through His sacrificial death and resurrection. Through His perfect sacrifice, Jesus makes it possible for sinners to be justified or declared righteous before God.

“For he shall bear their iniquities”:The Servant willingly bore the sins and iniquities of humanity on the cross. Jesus took upon Himself the punishment that we deserved for our sins. Through His substitutionary death, He provided forgiveness and reconciliation between God and humanity.
