1 Chronicles 23:6

“And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.”

The Levites worked together, each contributing to the overall functioning of the tabernacle. Similarly, as members of the Church, we are called to work together harmoniously, recognising that our collective efforts are crucial for the advancement of God’s purposes.
• Respect for Order and Authority:David’s division of the Levites was carried out under his leadership. This demonstrates the importance of recognising and respecting godly authority within the community of believers. By honouring and submitting to leaders whom God has placed over us, we contribute to the smooth functioning of the body of Christ.
