Understanding the verse:

Shamer:Shamer was the son of Heber, who was a descendant of Ephraim, the son of Joseph. This verse mentions that Shamer had children who ruled throughout the house of their father.

Mighty men of valour:The phrase mighty men of valour refers to individuals who were known for their strength, courage, and military prowess. These descendants of Shamer were renowned for their bravery and might.
