2 Corinthians 11:7

“Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?”

Historical Context:The Apostle Paul wrote the book of 2 Corinthians to the church in Corinth, addressing various issues and concerns. In this verse, Paul is defending his ministry and responding to criticisms he faced from some false teachers who had infiltrated the Corinthian church.

Unlike the false teachers who sought personal gain, Paul did not charge the Corinthians for his ministry or exploit them for his own benefit.
