Daniel 2:45

Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountaine without hands, and that it brake in pieces the yron, the brasse, the clay, the siluer, and the gold: the great God hath made knowen to the King what shall come to passe hereafter, & the dreame is certaine, and the interpretation thereof sure. Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, was troubled by a dream that none of his magicians, astrologers, or sorcerers could interpret. In his anger he threatened to execute all the wise men of his realm, including Daniel and his companions. When Daniel learned of the decree, he respectfully sought an audience with the king and asked for time to obtain the interpretation. God graciously revealed both the dream and its meaning to Daniel.

Upon hearing the interpretation, Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face in reverence, worshipped Daniel, and offered incense and sweet odours to him. He declared, “Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets,” acknowledging that no secret was too hard for Daniel because the spirit of the holy God was in him. The king further praised Daniel as a man of great spirit, decreeing that whatever Daniel spoke concerning the king would become so, and that anyone who spoke against him should be cut off and his house laid waste.
