Philippians 1:17

“Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; some also of love.” The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Philippians while he was in prison, expressing his love and gratitude for their partnership in the gospel. In this verse Paul observes two groups of believers who proclaim Christ, but whose motivations differ.
The phrase “some also of love” refers to believers who share the message of Christ out of genuine affection and goodwill.
