Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”

It says, “as Christ also hath loved us.” Jesus Christ demonstrated the greatest act of love by sacrificing Himself on the cross for our sins. His love was selfless, unconditional, and sacrificial. As followers of Christ, we are called to love others with the same sacrificial love that He has shown us.

Offering and Sacrifice to God:The verse continues, “and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God.” This refers to Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross, where He offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins.
