Esther 9:4

“For Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.”

Context:The Book of Esther is set during the time of the Persian Empire when the Jews were in exile. Esther, a Jewish woman, becomes the queen of King Ahasuerus (Xerxes I) through a series of events orchestrated by God. Haman, a high-ranking official, plots to annihilate all the Jews in the empire.
