Genesis 1:30
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Each animal had a defined food source that supported life without conflict. The closing declaration that it was so confirms the supreme authority of the spoken word of God. When the Almighty speaks, His decrees are immediately established in reality and upheld by His power. Creaturely survival does not depend upon accidental fortune or blind nature. Instead, divine providence, which is God's faithful and ongoing preservation of the world, guarantees that every living thing receives what is necessary for existence. The Creator personally assumes responsibility for feeding and maintaining the life He brought into being.
This universal provision offers deep assurance and practical guidance for daily life. If God faithfully supplies food for every bird of the air and every creeping creature on the ground, believers can rest with absolute confidence in His ongoing care for their personal needs. Anxiety loses its power when Christians remember the boundless generosity of the Heavenly Father. Furthermore, because all animals belong to God and are sustained by His hand, humanity is called to treat the natural world with reverence, kindness, and responsible stewardship rather than selfish exploitation. Every meal received is a reminder of God's unceasing goodness and a call to heartfelt thanksgiving.
