Isaiah 1:6
“From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”

God’s desire for healing:Despite the dire state of Israel described in this verse, it is essential to note that God’s desire is for healing and restoration. Throughout the book of Isaiah, God offers hope and promises of redemption to His people. The following verses in Isaiah 1 further illustrate this as God invites the people to reason together and promises forgiveness and cleansing if they turn back to Him.
