Jeremiah 13:1

Thus saith the Lord vnto me; Goe and get thee a linen girdle, and put it vpon thy loynes, and put it not in water. Jeremiah 13:1 (KJV)

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, “Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water,” was given to a prophet called to deliver God’s messages to Judah during a time of spiritual decline and impending judgment.
