Revelation 7:11

“And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God.”

Context:The book of Revelation, written by the Apostle John, is a prophetic book that reveals future events and provides encouragement and warnings for the early Christian communities.

In this particular verse, John describes a heavenly scene in which he sees a multitude of people from all nations worshiping God.

The Setting:In Revelation 7, John witnesses the sealing of 144,000 servants of God from the twelve tribes of Israel. After that, he sees a great multitude that no one could number, comprising people from every nation, tribe, people, and language. This multitude is standing before the throne and the Lamb, clothed in white robes and holding palm branches. They are worshiping and praising God.

The Angels:In Revelation 7:11, John sees all the angels standing around the throne, together with the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures (also known as the four beasts or cherubim). The angels fall before the throne on their faces, expressing reverence and worship to God.

Worship of God:The act of worship is central in this verse. The angels, who are heavenly beings created by God, are displaying utmost reverence and adoration toward God.
