1 Timothy 6:11
“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
Man of God:The phrase “man of God” refers to someone who is dedicated to serving God and fulfilling His purposes. In this context, it specifically addresses Timothy, but it can also apply to any believer who is committed to living according to God’s will.
This verse is part of the apostle Paul’s instructions to Timothy, his younger companion and co‑worker in the ministry. Patience:Patience, or endurance, is the ability to persevere through challenges, trials, and difficult circumstances. Paul encourages Timothy to develop patience, recognizing that the Christian journey may involve hardships and setbacks that require steadfastness and perseverance.
