1 Timothy 6:13

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

Context

Paul wrote this letter to Timothy, his disciple serving in Ephesus. In this verse, Paul solemnly charges Timothy, calling on God and Christ Jesus as witnesses to the authority and seriousness of his instructions.

Meaning
