2 Kings 22:16
“Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:”
Historical Context
2 Kings 22 is part of the account of King Josiah’s reign in Judah. Josiah became king at the age of eight and reigned for thirty‑one years. During his reign he implemented significant religious reforms and sought to restore the worship of the true God.

In the eighteenth year of his reign Josiah ordered repairs to be made to the temple.
