Daniel 2:10

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was troubled by a dream and demanded that his wise men not only interpret it but also tell him what the dream was. The Chaldeans, a group of astrologers and magicians in Babylon, were unable to fulfill the king’s request. In verse 10, they admitted their limitation, declaring that no man on earth could show the king’s matter and that no king, lord, or ruler had ever asked such a thing of any magician, astrologer, or Chaldean.
