Hebrews 8:13

“In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”

Context:The book of Hebrews was written to Jewish believers who were facing persecution and struggling with the temptation to revert back to their old Jewish rituals and traditions. The author of Hebrews emphasizes the superiority of Christ and the new covenant that He established, comparing it to the old covenant of the Mosaic Law.
