Joel 2:29
And also vpon the seruants, and vpon the handmaids in those dayes will I powre out my Spirit. Joel 2:29 (KJV)
The book of Joel belongs to the Minor Prophets and was delivered to the southern kingdom of Judah during a period of national crisis. A devastating locust plague had ravaged the land, prompting the prophet to call the people to repentance and to announce future blessings from God.

Believers are therefore encouraged to earnestly seek the Spirit’s presence. Through prayer, surrender, and a willingness to follow divine guidance, Christians can experience the empowerment needed to fulfill God’s calling in their lives.
