Matthew 13:20
“But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it”

Joyful Reception:The individuals in this verse initially receive the Word with joy. They might feel a sense of excitement and happiness upon hearing the message. However, this joy is short-lived due to the shallowness of their faith.
Lack of Root:The stony ground represents the absence of deep roots in a person’s faith. Just as a seed cannot grow without proper soil, plants cannot thrive in shallow, rocky ground. Similarly, when there is no depth in faith, it cannot withstand challenges, trials, or persecution.
