Psalms 106:33

“Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.”

As a result of his frustration and disobedience, Moses spoke unadvisedly with his lips. Rather than honoring God and acknowledging His power, Moses claimed credit for the water’s provision, saying, “Must we fetch you water out of this rock?” (Numbers 20:10, KJV).
