Psalms 119:149

Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O Lord, quicken me according to thy judgment.

Context

Psalm 119 is a long psalm that celebrates God’s word and ways. In this verse, the psalmist prays while facing enemies who “draw nigh that follow after mischief” (Psalm 119:150). Meaning

The cry “Hear my voice” shows confidence that God listens to His people.
