Psalms 17:4
Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Context
Psalms 17 is a prayer of David, a psalm of lament and supplication. David asks God to protect him from enemies and to declare him innocent. In the verses just before this one, David says that God has tested his heart and found no evil in him. He then prays that God would keep his steps steady in His paths.
