Revelation 14 in the King James Version (KJV) is a chapter filled with vivid imagery and symbolic representations. It begins with a vision of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, accompanied by a group of 144,000 individuals who have been redeemed from the earth. These are described as those who have remained faithful to God and have His name written on their foreheads. They sing a new song before the throne of God and the four living creatures, a song that only they can learn.
The chapter then transitions to an angel flying in mid-heaven, proclaiming the eternal gospel to the inhabitants of the earth. This angel is followed by another angel who announces the fall of Babylon, warning people against worshiping the beast and receiving its mark. A third angel follows, proclaiming God's judgment upon those who worship the beast and its image, warning of eternal torment.
Following this, John sees a vision of the Son of Man sitting on a cloud, reaping the harvest of the earth. Another angel comes out of the temple, wielding a sharp sickle, and gathers the grapes of the earth to cast them into the winepress of God's wrath.
