2 Chronicles 6:35

Then heare thou from the heauens their prayer and their supplication, and maintaine their cause. 2 Chronicles 6:35 (KJV)

This verse belongs to the prayer King Solomon offered at the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem. Having just completed the building of the house of the Lord, Solomon gathered the people of Israel to consecrate it to God.
