Malachi 4:6

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Context

This verse closes the book of Malachi and the entire Old Testament. The prophet spoke to Israelites who had returned from Babylonian exile but had grown complacent in worship and neglected their covenant with God. Malachi called them to repentance and to a renewed relationship with the Lord.
