Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Christ’s return will occur at the appointed time, which will be sooner than many expect, and it may come as a thief (cf. Revelation 16:15). This is not a past event, such as the destruction of Jerusalem, but the second, personal coming of Christ to judgment.
