Revelation 9 describes the sounding of the fifth and sixth trumpets, heralding terrifying events. These angels lead an army of 200 million horsemen who bring destruction and death upon a third of mankind. The horses are described as having fire, smoke, and brimstone coming out of their mouths, causing great devastation.
