2 Chronicles 17 tells the story of Jehoshaphat, the son of King Asa, who became the king of Judah. Jehoshaphat was a righteous king who followed the ways of the Lord and brought spiritual revival to the land.

Jehoshaphat also sent Levites, priests, and teachers to various cities to teach the people the laws of the Lord. The fear of the Lord fell upon the surrounding kingdoms, and they did not wage war against Judah.
Jehoshaphat's kingdom expanded greatly, and he amassed a vast army equipped with weapons and supplies. He even received tribute from neighboring nations.
The chapter highlights Jehoshaphat's faithfulness to God and his commitment to upholding the laws and ways of the Lord. Because of his righteousness, God blessed him and established his kingdom.
