Psalms 86:11
“Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”
Context:Psalms is a book of poetry and prayers attributed to King David and other authors. Psalm 86 is a prayer of David, expressing his dependence on God and seeking His guidance and protection in times of trouble.

Walking in God’s Truth:David declares, “I will walk in thy truth.” Here, he commits himself to live according to God’s truth and follow His commandments. It signifies David’s willingness to align his actions and conduct with God’s righteous standards.
Unity of Heart:David continues, “Unite my heart to fear thy name.” This phrase highlights David’s plea for a steadfast and undivided heart. He desires to have a heart fully devoted to revering and honoring God. David recognizes that the fear of the Lord-the awe, reverence, and deep respect for His holiness-is essential for a sincere and authentic relationship with God.
