Revelation 5 is a chapter in the Bible that reveals a powerful vision given to the apostle John. In this vision, John sees a scroll in the right hand of God, sealed with seven seals. A strong angel proclaims with a loud voice, asking who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals. John weeps because no one is found worthy to open the scroll.
But then, one of the elders comforts John, saying that the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered and is able to open the scroll. John turns and sees a Lamb standing as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, symbolizing the Spirit of God. The Lamb approaches God and takes the scroll from His hand.
This causes a powerful response from the heavenly beings and the elders, who fall down before the Lamb and sing a new song of praise, acknowledging the Lamb's worthiness to receive power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. John sees that countless angels join in the worship, along with every creature in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
